The elements

The print
Your Somalisa shot, printed large with a wide off-white mat and a simple thin charcoal (or warm-wood) frame. Hang it solo over the couch as the room's one hero — resist the urge to crowd it with a gallery wall.
Focal point
Walls
One quiet bone tone, trim to match. Calm walls are what let the photo read as the star — and keep the small room feeling open.
Feels bigger
Couch
Neutral oatmeal or greige (or a warm camel leather) — let the photo bring the color. A leggy frame you can see the floor under reads lighter in a small room.
On finishes list
Flooring
The continuous warm-wood LVP from the rest of the floor — running it unbroken into here is the biggest space-stretcher you have.
In budget
Textiles
Pull accents straight from the frame: a camel throw, a soft-sage cushion, a touch of black. Natural linen and wool keep it warm, not slick.

Lighting
Warm-bulb lamps for evening, plus an optional picture light over the print. Brass finishes echo the coat's warmth and tie back to the kitchen.
On finishes list
Mirror & shelves
A mirror opposite the window bounces daylight; slim wood shelves kept sparse — negative space is part of the look.
On finishes list
Greenery
A leafy plant or two nods to the acacia in the photo and keeps the neutral scheme alive.

Displaying the focal point

Go big — a 24×36" print or larger earns the wall. Center it at eye level (about 57–60" to the middle), give it a generous mat, and hang it on the wall you see first or above the couch. If it lands near a window, ask the framer for non-glare glass so the cheetah isn't lost to reflections.
